Rosemary Cecilia Hempe, 97, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Pelican Gardens in Sebastian. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri and came to Florida in 1977 from Long Island, New York. She was a farmer’s wife in Medford, NY for most of her life. Rosemary served as the organist at St. Luke’s Catholic Church and was a charter member of the Brevard Senior Center in Melbourne.
Rosemary is survived by her sons Dennis Martin (Kathleen), Kevin Martin (Carol), Gerard Martin (Tracy), her daughter Patricia Sanders (Richard), her step-sons George Hempe (Karen) and James Hempe (Peggy), five sisters, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
