Sharon Vomsaal

For anyone who knew Sharon, she was a free spirit. She wrote some things down previously that you may not know about her life.

Her father, Jack, had a sister, Helen, better known as Aunt Honey. Her and her husband never had children. Uncle Harry accepted a plumbing job in Antigua and Aunt Honey decided to take Sharon to see the beautiful Caribbean. They stayed in that tropical paradise for about a year. From then on, Sharon felt like Aunt Honey was a second Mom. She spent her earlier years in Miami with her mom, Judy, her sister, Lisa and other relatives. When she was 10 years old Judy, Sharon and Lisa moved to Lauderhill, FL.

Sharon did not care for conventional high school, so she left Lauderhill to live with Aunt Honey and finished her high schooling in Melbourne. She came back to Lauderhill afterwards and got married and began her family with a son, James Brandon, a daughter, Traci Lee and another daughter, Cathryn Ann. Unfortunately, that marriage did not work out, but she remarried and had another daughter, Ashley Rae.

She relocated to Palm Bay to be closer to Aunt Honey and eventually her mom, her girls and her sister followed.

Sharon loved her kids and grandkids more than anything. She left behind her 4 children, Brandon (Ryoko), Traci, Cathy (Shawn) and Ashley (Robert). She also left behind 7 grandchildren who were the light of her life; Caitlyn Ann, Asia Skye, Korbin, Zachary, Finnigan Duke, Ariana, and a Baby Boy on the way who is to be named. She also left behind her love, Joe Curran, and many friends and relatives. She will be sorely missed throughout the years.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, on April 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, on April 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm.

Committal will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock St. SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, on April 11, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
