God tenderly called His beloved daughter “Terry” to her eternal home with Him on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Terry was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts to her loving parents, Louis and Catherine Marlow. At the tender age of 16 she married Bob, her beloved husband of 53 years and began working with him in their family business while raising 3 children.
Terry moved to Florida in 1994 from Wethersfield, Connecticut. She attended Community Baptist Church of Sebastian. She enjoyed reading romance novels, making puzzles, swimming, bingo, shopping, playing the slot machines, her elephant collection, bling jewelry, and most importantly, spending time with those she loved.
Terry was known for having a very big heart. She loved her Jesus and insisting on being baptized at 79 years old. She loved her family through her daily sacrificial love her entire life, starting from taking care of her 5 siblings, to her mother, to her husband, to making sure her children would be okay without her, she was a caregiver who thought more of others than herself. She made every day special for her family, especially birthdays and holidays with elaborate Valentine hearts, Christmas trees and Easter baskets, in addition to her most famous “Ice Cream Money” given with every card and every visit.
Terry temporarily leaves her loving children Linda (Allan) Craig of Branford, CT and Barefoot Bay, FL; Robert Roy Jr. (Gloria Pion) of Pinellas Park, FL; and Sandy (Tom) Mepham of Barefoot Bay, FL; her special niece Catherine Beaudry of Barefoot Bay, FL; caregiver Kathy Mothershead of Sebastian, FL; sister Claire Gdula of Holyoke, MA; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Robert, Jeff, Nicole, Brandon and Sabrina; seven great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and many other family and friends that shared her love and will see her again by knowing Jesus as Lord.
Her children would like to express a special thank you to Vitas Healthcare and invite everyone to a celebration of her life on June 13th at 11:00am at Community Baptist Church, 12534 Roseland Road, Sebastian, FL. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
