Verbena is preceded in death by husband Jephthah, children Erica, Marilyn and Trevor. She is survived by son Kirk & daughter-in-law Iris Ashmeade; daughter Jacqueline & son-in-law Charles Emmons, son Richard Ashmeade; grandchildren Erica, Sean, Robert & wife Jessica, Nykia, Imani and Sophia; great grandchildren Jordan, Evan, Miliani, Raelana, and Karina.
Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Blessed Redeemer 1225 DeGroodt Road Palm Bay, FL 32908 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with committal to follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park 7303 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay, FL 32909.
