While we regret to not be there to share the memory of the life of Uncle Vinnie, he is in our thoughts and hearts. In honor of the friendship and joy he brought to those who loved him, we have made a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Our hearts are broken, that we could not gather for one last time.  The memories, the stories, that laughs will be shared a lifetime.  

I know with all my heart that my Mom, (your sister) was waiting for you at Heavens gates.   Along with Pop and Grandma with open arms and without a doubt Dad holding a Tom Collins (2  lbs of sugar).  You are at peace, free of sickness and pain,  safe with them.   

You will always be in my prayers.  Until we meet again, we love you and will miss you.

We shared so many great memories. Every time we think of you, we think of how you put a smile on everyone’s face and always made us laugh. You had so much of Grandma in your personality and even just catching you on a FaceTime call with Mom felt so special! We wish we could’ve spent more time with you.

To One of the Greatest I've Ever Known....

I hope you're drag racing down Hillside Avenue and up Little Neck Parkway in one of the oldies but goodies... and I hope they never catch you!

I hope you're sitting at the head of the bar- laughing and telling stories with all the regulars at The Red Baron!

I hope Easy Money had that 18 wheeler ready to take you back on the wide open road with him...minus the patio furniture but just the same!

I hope you are back in the loving arms of Grandma and Grandpa and you get to hold them tight.

Most of all, I hope you are sitting pool side with the warm sun in your face, a cup of coffee in your hand and Mommy sitting right next to you laughing, nudging and enjoying every minute with you!

Uncle Vinnie- You have endured so many health obstacles over the years, many of which most could never overcome but you did it without grudge. You were blessed with a pretty amazing woman at your side who cared for you night and day. She wore many hats at many different times, but was always there for you and for us. Aunt Ellen- you are one in a million!

I'm going to miss our facetimes and our chats. Most of all, I am going to miss your warm smile. When I pour that Merlot I will raise my glass to you and hope that you are smiling down on all of us. Know that I wanted nothing more to visit just one more time.
I love you so much!

I remember getting sick on your boat and ruining your fishing trip when I was 14. You took it well. I remember the hi fi you gave Ellen and I remember your wedding. I remember you were the only one who broke the rules and threw rice on us at Rich and my wedding. I remember the Red Baron. I remember no one could bar-b-que like you. I remember the husband, the father and the friend. But mostly I remember how welcome you made us feel every time we came to visit. We didn’t get to have that glass of red wine, but every time I have a Merlot, I will make a silent toast to you. Our prayers are with Elle, your children and grandchildren, and all your family. Thanks for  the memories, Kathy, Rich and all our family.
