William L. Patterson, USA (Ret, SFC), 84, of Palm Bay died Saturday (2/7) at his home with loved ones at his side. A native of Greenfield Ridge, West Virginia, he came to the Palm Bay area in 1976 from Columbus, Ohio. SFC Patterson spent 20 years in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War, where he earned several medals and unit citations.
Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years: Mitsue and eldest daughter: Peggy; William is survived by his son: Archie (Nadya), daughters: JoAnn, Linda (Rick) Stovall, Mary (Steve) Remsburg, Gladys; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
