Yvonne May Hensley, 76, of Sebastian died Thursday (4/10) at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. A native of Washington DC, she came to the Sebastian area in 1991 from Maryland. Yvonne had been a staff assistant for the Indian River County Sheriff’s Dept. prior to retirement. She was a protestant and had been a member of the Palm Lake Club, serving as treasurer for many years.
Survivors include her sister: Carolyn Dodson of King George, VA; three nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and five great nephews. Her brother: William Lee preceded her in death recently.
