

Ramon Ceja (nicknames Ramas, Ramonson, and his favorite was Papa Mon) 64, of California City, died on Thursday, January 4, 2024. at a hospital in Los Angeles, with his family at his bedside, after an extended illness.
A memorial service to celebrate Ramon's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday January 20, 2024 at Desert Song Four Square Church, at 20849 Hacienda Blvd., in California City, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeannie; three stepchildren, Tina Delozier of California, Michael Kellogg of Colorado, and Richard Kellogg of Arizona.
Five grandchildren, Tasha Martino, Beau Delozier, Kurstin Turnbull, Julie Heater, and Aliya Kellogg who he raised since she was two years old.
Nine Great grandkids: Gabriel, Isabel, Isaiah, Frankie, Yasiel, Yalina, Genesis, Titus, and Selah.
His mother, Maria Martha Ceja and 10 brothers and sister: Ana Rosa, Ramiro, Antonio, Ernesto, Yolanda, Adolfo, Martha, Jaime, Cuauhtemoc, and Fidelia. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Antonio Ceja and sister Felicitas.
Ramon was born on October 26, 1959 in Mazamitla, Jalisco, Mexico. He came to the states when he was 17 years old through Indiana, then making his way to California. One of his passions was buying and selling real estate and he loved hanging out at his ranch with his friends and family. He worked at Silver Saddle Ranch & Club, the Honda Proving Center in Cantil as a heavy equipment operator, then as a security guard.
He was loved very much and will be missed
