

She was born July 16th, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA to Stanley and Mary L (Felten) O’Neal. After graduating from Havertown High School, she received a scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania, from which she graduated in 1946 with a BA in Philosophy.
After graduation, she worked at the Franklin Institute, and then at Burroughs Corporation in Paoli PA where she was a computer programmer who led a team that wrote the software for the Federal Reserve Bank.
She married Harry Kenosian, who also worked at Burroughs, March 12, 1955. He died in 2006.
Arlene and Harry are survived by 2 children, Mary (Rev. Daniel Hoy) and David, 2 grandchildren, Mark (Marie) Hoy, Thomas Hoy and spouse Laura Milunic, plus 2 great-grandchildren, Hayden and Elise Hoy.
Arlene was active in the AAUW, playing bridge, and loved doing puzzles of all sorts, working on arcane double-crostics, crosswords, KenKens, and more. She was a dog-lover who had a number of furry friends over the years. And she could never resist buying yarn and starting a knitting project.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her parents, and her sister Thelma.
There will be an interment at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, and a funeral to be announced at a later date.
