Beatrice Moser

Passed away on April 9, 2023 at Shannondell Meadows in Audubon. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Moser, who passed away May 2, 2013.

She was born on September 9, 1927 in Minneapolis, MN. She was the daughter of the late Parnell and Anna (Mollner) Westlund.

She met her husband on a trip to the Canadian Rockies, where they were vacationing separately with their friends. Robert courted her for over a year, flying from Philadelphia to Minneapolis. They married and moved to Wayne, before settling by Valley Forge Park. In their later years, they moved to Shannondell in Audubon. She enjoyed being a homemaker and took great pride in her home and family. She loved traveling with her family in the summer, painting and gardening. She also spent much of her time volunteering at Valley Forge Elementary School, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Devon, and exercising with her friends at the Berwyn YMCA. After Robert retired, they enjoyed traveling across the country. Once she had grandchildren she enjoyed going on day adventures with her children and their families. She loved the beach (in the fall) and the dogwoods and azaleas in Valley Forge Park.

She is survived by her daughter Judith (Judy) Kohl - Gunther and her husband Kurt of West Chester, and her son David and his wife Loretta Borko of Philadelphia; her grandchildren Robert Kohl Jr., Joshua Kohl, and Ruby Moser.

Beatrice’s family would like to thank the staff of the Memory Care Unit at Shannondell Meadows for the compassionate care they gave her for the last 1 1/2 years of her life.

She will be greatly missed not just by her family, but also by all the people she met at Shannondell, and her church friends. Her smile, contagious laugh and love for comedy will live on through all of us.
