Cheryl Grady Fitch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Fitch, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on December 16th, 2024, at the age of 76. Her life was a testament to strength, intelligence, humor, and love—qualities she shared generously with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cheryl was a brilliant and fiercely strong woman who approached life with unmatched determination and grace. Her quick wit and sharp sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days, bringing laughter and joy to family gatherings and conversations with friends. She possessed a keen intellect, an insatiable curiosity, and a wisdom that guided and inspired everyone around her.

Above all, Cheryl adored her family. She was a devoted mother to Rory Fitch, and her greatest pride was being "Gigi" to her four cherished grandchildren: Connor, Isabella, Alyson and Dylan. She poured her love into every moment spent with them.

Her strength was the foundation on which her family built their lives. Whether facing challenges or celebrating successes, she was always the steady presence who led with compassion and resilience. Her legacy lives on in the countless lessons she imparted and the deep bonds she nurtured.

Cheryl will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts, along with a community that was enriched by her presence.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on January 7th at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Philadelphia, PA.
