He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores (nee Anthony); his children, Dominic (Kristin), Martina (Michael) Tamaro, and Lisa (George Graff); 9 grandchildren; and his brothers, Angelo and Peter (Patricia).
Dominic was born in Berwyn, PA on October 13, 1938 to Peter and Victoria Meoli. He graduated with the first class from Conestoga High School and, in 1963, took over proprietorship of his father’s market, turning it into the Great Valley Meat Company. He became a master of his tradecraft and built a superior reputation and solid customer base through his steadfast commitment to service and product quality. He loved his work and was tenacious in making the business a success. He closed the company in 2006 upon his retirement.
Despite his intense work schedule, Dominic was a devoted father and grandfather, and served as a pillar of strength and stability for his entire family. He never missed at an opportunity to attend their concerts, or sporting events, and could even be spotted from afar at practices.
He will be deeply missed by all.
A viewing is planned for Tuesday evening, December 22, from 5:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 23, from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Alleva Funeral Home (Paoli, PA).
