John A. DiFelice

John A. DiFelice, on Nov. 25, 2011, of West Chester formerly of Berwyn, PA. Husband of the late Grace R. (Nee Vallese) DiFelice. Father of; John (Sally) of W. Chester, Richard (Roslyn) of Havertown & Rosemary (John) Weber of Overland Park, Kansas. Also (8) grand children & (15) great grand children.

Born in Radnor on March 8, 1916 he was the son of the late F.A. & Maria DiFelice. John moved to Norristown at the age of 4 where he graduated from Norristown High School class of 34’. In 1940 he moved to Berwyn and was a long time member of St. Monica’s Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a 71 year member of the Berwyn Fire Company where he served as past President & Secretary. Mr. DiFelice retired from the Mateer-Burt Co. in 1988 as a Machine Assembler. He was an avid Gardner, Phillies and NASCAR fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Nov. 29th at 10:30 am from St. Monica’s Church in Berwyn. Int. St. Agnes Cem. W. Chester. Viewing Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm and also Tuesday morning 9:00-10:00 am both at the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. Paoli. In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to; St. Monica’s Church, 635 First Ave. Berwyn, PA. 19312 or to the Berwyn Fire Com. 23 Bridge Ave. Berwyn, PA. 19312.
