John Paul Gomez, age 39, of Berwyn, died suddenly on June 11, 2012. Beloved son of Luis A. & Joanne M. Gomez. Cherished brother of David L. (Kathleen) Gomez. Adored Uncle of; Elizabeth, Raymond and William Gomez. He was loved by anyone who ever met or knew him.
John Paul never viewed his autism as a disability; instead he achieved more in his short life than most of us ever will. We look upon his memory for strength, guidance and understanding.
During his lifetime he became an Eagle Scout and an accomplished musician and artist. He used his talents as a teacher’s Aide at the Timothy School where he encouraged and guided autistic children and served as a symbol of hope to both the children and their parents.
He will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Services were held on Friday, June 15, at the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. in Paoli. Contributions may be made in his memory to the; Timothy School, 973 Old Lancaster Rd., Berwyn, PA. 19312.
