Marjorie Marie Waer

Marjorie Waer, 98 years young of Lansdale, Pa. passed away Sept. 10th, 2023. She was born in Paterson, NJ to Ione and John Victor Egg. Her childhood was spent in NJ, Penn., and Arizona where she attended the U. of Arizona and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.

She began her career with the Mountain State Telephone in the early 1940’s. Marjorie moved back to NJ in the mid 1940’s and met her husband Martin of 56 years.

She is survived by a daughter Jamie Masker (husband William), a grandson William Jae Masker, a granddaughter Kelly Shepherd (husband Bryan), many nieces and nephews and 3 God Children.

Marjorie worked for Verizon (AKA NJ Bell) and Mountain State Telephone for 32 years.

Living most of her life in NJ Marjorie and Martin retired to Florida in 1982 where they enjoyed golfing, swimming and many friends and relatives. Other hobbies included genealogy and water and snow skiing.

Marjorie spread her happiness, kindness and optimism to all who knew her. She will be missed by many but our memories will keep her alive in our hearts.
