Mary Collins

Mary is survived by her son, John Collins and daughter-in-law Cathy Collins (nee Weston) of Downingtown, PA, along with sons Michael Collins of Malvern, PA, and Patrick Collins of Phoenixville, PA. Mary was also the loving grandmother to Kate Collins of Downingtown, PA, Melissa Collins of Coatesville, PA, John (Patrick) Collins of Downingtown, PA, and two great grandchildren.

Mary was born in raised in Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of West Catholic High School. After high school, Mary worked for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Then after getting married and starting a family, Mary settled with her family in Paoli, PA in the early 1960s. In the mid-1970s, Mary returned to work in the insurance industry, working her way up to middle management before retiring. Mary was also an accomplished artist and very talented seamstress. She loved the challenge of making anything out of cloth. Mary was also an active volunteer working on behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as her beloved Catholic parish.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at St. Norbert Catholic Church (6 Greenlawn Rd, Paoli, PA) on Friday June 28, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW.org) or the charity of your choice.
