Mary B. (née Botfield) DiAddezio, 80, of Chesterbrook, PA, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2025. Mary was a beautiful wife, a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, and a source of warmth to all who knew her. She was a remarkably creative soul and a passionate reader—authentic, kind, and truly beautiful inside and out.
Mary’s professional life reflected her many talents and her generous spirit. She was a skilled ceramicist, a gifted florist, and a dedicated childcare provider. She co-owned Mar-Kate Ceramics and later owned Suite Flowers & Plants. Mary also nurtured countless children through her work in nursery schools and daycare centers.
She had a special love for both children and animals, and delighted in the return of her hummingbirds each season—a small joy that reflected the wonder she found in everyday life.
Surviving are her husband, Albert L. DiAddezio, four children: Michael (former wife Carole), Daniel (Alice), Jeffrey (Karen), and Stephen (Stacy), six grandchildren: Gianna, Antonio, Domenic, Nicholas, Ava and Sabrina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 9:45-11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption: 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA 19087. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Monica’s Cemetery, Berwyn, PA.
