Mary Louise (Mary Lou) Fetchko, aka Lu Lu, 81, Newtown Square, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at White Horse Village. She was the wife of the late Theodore Fetchko. Born April 17, 1944, in Devon, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Kerigan. Mary Lou was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church.
Mary Lou earned a Bachelor of Science in general and clinical nutrition from Immaculata University and subsequently obtained an MBS from St. Joseph's University. She demonstrated expertise in baking and cooking, frequently organizing holiday gatherings. Additionally, she was an accomplished athlete, participating actively in tennis, golf, and bocci, but her true love was playing bridge with her friends.
Surviving family members include her sister Sally Austin and children, Nancy and her husband Eric, Lisa Fetchko, and Betsy Fetchko, as well as her grandchildren: Will, Ivan, Francine, and Jordan.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, located at 50 West Walker Road in Wayne. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am, with Mass commencing at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Road, Villanova.
