

Sam grew up in Rosemont and graduated from Radnor High School. He proudly served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1949. He later went on to establish a career with Norcini & Son’s, retiring after 42 years of service. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 806, Wayne, PA from 1997-2014.
Sam loved to garden, carve, and watch YouTube on his iPad. He was a beacon of kindness and love, always ready to lend a hand or offer a comforting word. His gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone around him, and his unwavering support and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
Survived by four children; Judy Giersch (Les); Samuel Benigni, Jr., (Nancy); David Benigni, (Diane); and Susan Damico, (John); 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Loving brother to Theresa Aigeldinger, the late Katie Monaco, Mary JanFrancisco, Annie Bertuccini, Josephine DeFazio and brother John Benigni.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, May 15th 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford. Interment following at St. Monica Cemetery, Berwyn.
