Walter Rowe Rowe Fesperman

Walter Rowe Fesperman, age 80, of Paoli, PA, formerly of Atlanta, GA & Asheville, NC, died peacefully at home on December 7, 2012 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was the beloved husband of Anne (nee Turpin) Fesperman. Rowe was born in Salisbury, NC and graduated from Duke University & University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He was married for 55 years and enjoyed Duke Basketball, the Philadelphia Orchestra and taking cruises around the world. His career highlights included Vice President at Wachovia, CEO of Sun National Bank and Director at Robert Morris Associates. Rowe was the devoted father of 3 children: Hunter (Robert) Hannig, Brooke Olander & Page (Louis) Gilmore; loving grandfather of six: Tyler & Austin Hannig, Lilly, Charlotte & Penny Gilmore & Trinity Olander; brother of Patricia (Hugh) Howell; and Uncle of: Walter Howell and Lynne Byington.
