Wang was born in Hong Kong on April 14, 1943.
In 1969, he married the love of his life, Kam Lin Lau Ling, who survives him. Wang is also survived by his children, Stephanie, Vincent (Livea), and Robert (Yen); four grandchildren, Ryen, Chrys, Abby, and Spencer; and two siblings, Kwai Ying Tse and Kwai Kiu Ling. He was predeceased by his sisters, Yau Tsu and On Kiu Louis, and his brother, Wun Shun Ling.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Wang did not have the financial means to obtain a higher education. As a postal worker, Wang was determined to provide for his family and give them a better life. In 1978, he moved his family from Hong Kong to the United States for a chance at that better life. He succeeded. Upon arriving in Levittown, he worked as a waiter and then eventually became a cook at his sister’s Chinese restaurant. Then in 1987, he opened up his own Chinese Take-Out restaurant called Sun Wah in Penndel, PA before retiring from the business in 1998. During that time, he achieved his dream of seeing all three of his children graduate from college.
Wang had a passion for learning, watching World Cup Soccer, spending time with his grandchildren, and on occasion, watching the ponies race at the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Most of all, he loved his family and instilled in his children strong values that have served them well. He will dearly be missed and forever in our hearts.
