Following her birth, Jaeme enjoyed growing up in multiple parts of the country, including St. Paul, MN and New Haven, CT before settling down in Nashville, TN.
In Nashville, Jaeme graduated in 1994 from Franklin High School, where she was featured in several school plays. Jaeme was especially talented as an actress, being one of the few out of many applicants to make the Tennessee Governor’s Drama Program the summer before her senior year. She then attended college at the University of Mississippi (Go Rebs!) before graduating from O’More College of Design back in Nashville with a degree in Graphic Arts (skills she would deploy in all the parties she later hosted, especially her wedding!)
After graduation, Jaeme worked as a flight attendant with United Airlines. It was while with United Airlines that Jaeme met a good friend who convinced her to move to Omaha, where she bumped into her future (and proud) husband, Michael Kawa, whom she married on October 2, 2004. The marriage produced a bounty of good times, and two lovely children whom Jaeme loved very much, Harper and Holden.
Outside of all these accomplishments, Jaeme enjoyed spending time with friends and family, running, swimming, walking, and rooting on her beloved Ole Miss Rebels and UCLA Bruins!
She is survived by her Husband, Michael; Children, Harper and Holden; Parents, Clark and Ann Gorder; Sister, Pollyanna Gorder; and multiple Nieces and Nephews.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.KahlerDolceMortuary.com for the Kawa family.
