Hey Josh. We both knew each other during a really weird time in our lives, but honestly you were one of the brightest spots in the middle of a very confusing time. You were always thoughtful, kind and too good for this world. I remember you would buy me Jimmy Johns and take me to one of your favorite places to just sit and watch nature or we would go for a drive near the river. You were gentle with your words and actions, always pitting others before yourself. You had the biggest smile, even while you were struggling through medical issues that seemingly went on and on. I don't have a lot of regrets in life - because really what good are regrets - but I regret that we fell out of touch, I regret that life took us in different directions and that I lost a friend in you due to distance and time. I want you to know that I thought of you often through the years and that I even thought of reaching out. I wish I had. I should have told you all these things I thought of you a long, long time ago. You deserved to know how special you were as a person and friend. I want you to know that in your memory I will take more drives by the river, I will look a little longer at nature and take a little more time away from the craziness. I will tell those around me what they have meant to me, and make sure they know before it is too late. Thank you for letting me cross paths with you. Thank you for your kindness. Rest well, Josh. I'll never forget the great times we shared on our visits to Omaha. Joshua is a cool older cousin who I always admired, and words can't begin to express the sorrow felt at the loss of a beloved son, brother, friend, and father. Rest in peace Josh, we'll miss you very much.

Bob Cindy and family...we are so very sorry to hear about Josh's passing. He always had a smile and was such a joy. He will be missed. Although we had not seen him in years we were devastated to hear the news of your great loss. You will all be in our prayers. 

Words cannot adequately express the sorrow and pain at the loss of Joshua from our family.   Joshua was the 1st Child, the 1st Son, the 1st Grandchild and became the 1st Father.  He will be deeply missed and the world right now is missing a key family member.  God Bless my Nephew...

We cannot begin to know what you are feeling and experiencing at this time, but the sudden loss of Joshua is felt deeply, and by many.  May he rest in peace and enjoy being with Grandma and Grandpa again.     

I have fond memories of working with Josh at Ming's Restaurant. Josh was the favorite of so many "regulars" and was often asked about whenever he wasn't working. He'd know orders by heart and had a funny way of kneeling down to be at eye level with with tables to take their orders... a position similar to his follow-through after launching a bowling ball down the lane at Scorz on staff bowling nights. There was always a sense of calm knowing Josh was on the team during busy Friday and Saturday nights at work. I also want to thank Josh for the quality care he gave my grandparents during their time at Brookestone. Josh, you were a great guy and will be missed by many. Rest in peace!

Josh, you were my very first friend as I started Trumble. You lived just around the corner making us close friends instantly! You were goofy, always had a smile, and welcomed everyone with open arms. We were close all through high school. In the last year or two, we were able to reconnect and the one thing I knew without a shadow of a doubt was that your daughter was your number one. Your pride and joy. And meaning of life. 

I know you are reunited with Nick after so long and I can only imagine the shenanigans you two are getting into!!! I hope your family can find some solace in that alone. You will be missed my friend, but will live on in all the stories that you have created within us. 

Our thoughts go out to the Billinger family!!  I am so very sorry for your loss!! Losing a child is horrible. Tragic!  I’ve been your neighbor for what? 20 years??  I just recently started to get to know Josh , as his precious daughter, Jayla, would play with my grandkids. We enjoyed talks as the kids were playing. We talked about the penguins at the zoo. He said he could get me inside to play with them! He was so kind and had a good heart!!  Say hello to my two brothers up there. My Dad as well!!  Rest Easy Josh. 💖 you are greatly missed 

Josh, remembering all the times we worked together at the restaurant. Thank you for being a friend, brother, and daily sounding board during all those years. Thank you for being such a tremendous part of our Ming’s family. Give my dad the biggest hug from me. Rest easy, my friend.

Joshua, you are so very loved. May you rest peacefully now in the comfort of God's care. I believe that you’re with Grandpa and Grandma enjoying all that God’s Kingdom has to offer.  Play some dominoes with Grandma for me. I can smile at the memories we share and be comforted knowing you are at peace.

Joshua Joseph, your family loves you so much. We miss you more than words could ever describe.  My baby sister love is something fierce and it shattered knowing I couldn't protect you.  I know you’re with Grandma and Grandpa in peace and joy flying high with the angels. I keep hearing your laughter in my head and that beautiful sound is something I don’t ever want to forget.  Your heart was so pure, so kind, and most of all loving.  We will always be The Billinger Five…Joseph, you were so worthy of everything in this world. I love you.

Babe I miss you so much…. We always had a great relationship and I love you….. we always had fun together. We talked every single day. I’m gunna miss your smile and laugh. You were such a great guy and you would do anything for others. I really cherish all the days we got spend together. I’m gunna miss talking to you every single day and watching you play Xbox after work. I love you❤️

My heart and prayers are with Josh’s family and his daughter as they go through the loss of their loved one.  Josh was a friend of my son, Nick, and I have many wonderful memories of Josh and the boys growing up together.  He had the greatest smile, was always so polite and funny… a joy to be around. Rest In Peace sweet Josh..  as you are now at home with your Heavenly Father who will embrace you with open arms.  You will never be forgotten Josh and I will always smile as I think of you.
