

Keith was born on February 10th, 1973, in Washington, D.C. to George S. and Barbara J. (Sibold) Helff. He graduated from LaPlata High School with the class of 1991. Keith entered the United States Air Force on June 6th, 1996, and retired June 29th, 2016, after 20 years of active duty.
On November 7th, 1998, Keith married Angela Snogren, and the couple spent their married life stationed in Alaska, Colorado, and Nebraska. In more recent years Keith worked at Security National Bank as their information Security Manager.
Family was important to Keith. He was a devoted and loving father and husband. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, reloading, camping, Boy Scouts, poker, games, and spending time with his family.
Scouts was a big part of Keith’s life. Keith enjoyed being the Scoutmaster of troop 26. He loved spending the extra time with his kids and mentoring others. He earned his Eagle Scout award and was also a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.
Survivors include his wife, Angela of Papillion, NE; sons, Tyson, Landon, and Evan; daughters, Aniston and Adelynn of Papillion, NE; sister, Cindy (James) Webb of Irmo, SC; sister-in-law Amy (Dustin) Muir of Lincoln, NE; nephews, William, Joshua, Kolby, Kameron, and Kooper.
A memorial has been established in Keith’s memory at the First National Bank in Omaha for his children’s education funds.
A memorial service for Keith will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Citylight Church West, 3401 Oak View Dr., Omaha, Nebraska 68144.
