Larry Laverne Dew, 85, Papillion, NE, passed away Sunday,August 27, 2023 at home. Born in Sac City, IA on January 29,1938, he was the son of the late John Clay Dew and Mable Elsie Hass. He was a graduate of Sac City High School. Larry was a veteran of the Air Force and served 20 years. He regularly met with friends for coffee, and never knew a stranger. He liked road trips and seeing the country with his family. In his younger years,he enjoyed trapping and hunting. He always loved the outdoors,and maintained a garden and many bird feeders.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Bethel Vanderheiden, and brothers, Dale Dew and Earl Dew. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dew, daughter, Kimberly Bazis, and grandchildren. Ashley Shea, Cameron Bazis, and Trevor Bazis.
