Marvin received a portion of his schooling in OPS. He was then sent to Beatrice. After spending several years there he then moved back to Omaha. Marvin was employed by Offutt Air Force Base, Thrift Store, and a couple cafés.
Marvin competed in a bowling league; and in his younger years, he enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. Marvin loved watching Westerns, listening to music, fishing and was an avid sports fanatic.
On December 23, 2024, while in Thornton, Colorado, Marvin peacefully passed away.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Helen Fischer; and a brother, Junior Fischer.
Those left to mourn his passing include his sisters; Christina (Sam) Fischer, Darla Fischer, Jodi Custer and Shelley Leitner; his beloved dog, Jac, who has been by his side for 7 years; as well as his extended family and numerous friends.
