I would like to give my peace and blessings to the Crail family and family and friends who were family to the late Mildred A Crail she seemed like a woman of virtue with love and kindness she's a family member of my grandfather Kelly Crail Harris peace and blessings to this family and the families who love this like family my name is Sultan Harris but my blood is made of Lowther my mother maiden name and Crail my father's father original last name peace and blessings to my family.

Grandma, you are an amazing person! Throughout the years, everyone was made so happy by you, sleepovers, gift bags,  and holiday get-togethers. Forever, there will be an empty place that can never be filled.  Whether it be in a lack of gift bags with holy cards, or your chair at the table never used.  We all miss you dearly and it's upsetting that you're gone, but you've taught us all so much! Whenever I go to Mrs. Wetham's I see little skills you taught me.  Tricks to clean behind the refrigerator, or tricks to vacuum or tricks to do anything cleaning oriented! Everyday I will see an item and think of you, or I'll feel upset and think,"WWGD" (What Would Grandma Do) I miss coming over to your house,"Grandma I drove over here." You'd answer so enthusiastically,"You did?" You were always there for me grandma. Thank you <3

When I was a kid, and I had something on my mind, I knew I could find you in the kitchen, ready to make me some cinnamon toast and lend me your ear.  I'd talk, and you would just calmly nod your head and listen.  When I was done, you always had good advice or a comforting word.  You knew just what to say, somehow.  And even now that I'm an adult, when I had a rough day or needed some advice, I knew I could give you a call and that I would always come away feeling better.  That was just one gift, mom, among countless gifts that you gave to me over the course of my lifetime, and that I will always be grateful for.  

You never spoiled us with material things, mom.  You loved us too much for that.  Instead you gave us the important things - your time, a good, solid, loving home and a lot of wonderful memories that will carry with us throughout our lives.  I hope that I can be as good a mom to my children as you were to me.  You were a gift to us.    

I miss you so very much.  But I know I will see you again some day, you and dad.  I love you with all my heart.

I love you grandma.  I am happy that you are in heaven with grandpa now.

Grandma was an amazing person.I loved sewing,talking,laughing, heck even cleaning with her. She always bought us snacks for our sleepovers with her.I'm really going to miss her and every thing about her,prize bags,her parties,every thing. She always had us kids in mind, buying cookies and what not. She always made me feel so proud whether it was my piano playing, my singing, my art, etc. I'm far from happy about her being gone, believe me - but it gives me comfort knowing shes up there somewhere dancing without pain with grandpa.

My fondest memories of grandma was eating grandmas oatmeal at the kitchen table, whether it was breakfast or right before we were going to bed. Grandma and I would talk and talk and of course the dogs were always underfoot wanting for something to drop their way. Whatever we had left, we would separate the egg yolks and such into the pooches dishes. I'm going to miss those late nights at the kitchen table just talking about the days events and the memories.

Grandma I miss you terribly. Lately I've been going on walks, sometimes just around the neighborhood, other times I drive to nature parks. Each walk I see something beautiful that reminds me of you. I imagine you fluttering along beside me as a butterfly, or running and jumping as a young pup hunting a new scent. I imagine you flowing downhill with a fresh stream or a blossoming wildflower. Your spirit is still alive in the world and to be honest I look for you.

I miss the way you would call my name over the roar of the vacuum cleaner, I miss your handwriting, I miss your anticipation when I had great news about school or work. You always had my back Grandma, I never felt alone when I knew I could come to you.

I miss the to-do lists.
Heck I have been cleaning your house since I could pick up a dust rag, and sure there were times when I dragged my feet but now that I will never see another one of your lists I get so depressed. I realize I always cleaned because I had so much respect for you. You would laugh but really if I could just clean those louver doors one more time! My favorite right : )

I now surround myself with your pictures, your knick nacks, but I still have an emptiness I cannot fill. I stare at your photo, replay the last message on my answering machine and just wish and hope you will come to me in my dreams. You were taken too soon Grandma, I play your last week in my head on repeat. That last time we went to sushi yama, going through some of your house and hearing all the stories of when, where, and how everything got to the place it sat. I am so lucky to have those stories! I have so many more questions though.

You are my strong willed, beautiful, intelligent Grandmother, you will live on in the family tree branches you started with Grandpa. You two built some tree : )

I have so much I want to say to you and I know you can hear me. I have a half frozen water bottle in the freezer for you and an unopened christmas gift I will wait to open :) I miss you more and more, I hear your voice when I'm feeling really low. I find closure thinking of how Grandpa greeted you up above, I love and miss you both

Though the world is a much less vibrant and meaningful place without Grandma and Grandpa, I am reminded every day of their love for their family and their uncompromising optimism. I was shaped through their example, learned the value of honesty and hard work and that the most important role one could hope to play in life was a positive influence on others. 
Grandma was and will always be an example of true strength; the ability to weather the hardships of life while not letting the good moments slip by. She taught me the value of patience and sacrifice and the elasticity required to keep my worries at bay. Never once did I doubt her, and I miss her reassuring spirit now more than ever.
   Though we have all been severely grounded by her and Grandpa's passing, what they have left us is the understanding that it IS possible to avoid the pitfalls of the world by giving in to love, that most basic impulse, to act with the knowledge that you have a place in the hearts of those in your life. The ring they gave me is a constant reminder of the power of their union, the reverberations of which I am still experiencing every day. I will never know nor love another mentor, family member, or friend the likes of them, and this both saddens and sustains me with their memory.

I know you and Grandpa are together and fulfilled, and it comforts me to no end. I love you guys.

I still want to pick up phone to hear her voice, she always knew what to say to make everything ok. I miss her so much and the long talks we would have. She always strived for having everything perfect so I hope my sisters and I can make her proud as she is looking down from heaven along with Dad.  Love Janice

Nothing I type into this small message box will ever fully encompass how I really feel about you. It is still so surreal to me that you are gone, things happened so fast. Where to even begin? Grandma, thank you for all you've done for me. I know that's a very broad statement, but the amount of favors & "dupah savings" are endless. I will forever cherish our time spent together when I was in kindergarten. I could not wait to get out of school and head your way. I remember Grandpa coming to pick me up in his wood panel van, with his co-pilot, Hattie. I would always know where he was parked-I would head towards the crowd! I remember snuggling up on your couch feeling so safe and so loved; Thank you. You never seemed to mind when I would beg to play with all of your little nick-knacks.I am grateful for every dollhouse workshop,envelope "to-do" list, prayer card, Valentine, Birthday card, piece of advice, everything. You told me I could do it, and I am. I live to make you and Grandpa proud. I am honored to put your great-granddaughter to bed in the crib you guys gave her. I see reminders of you everyday.I seek comfort in hoping you and Grandpa are together again, happy forever. We miss you. We miss you everyday. Charlee looks at your picture and smiles. It doesn't seem fair that you were taken from us, but there is no doubt the footprint you left will continue to imprint. We all love you, yesterday, today and always. You were a staple part of our family, and we are all getting used to trying to compensate for what you took when you went.I am so proud to be your granddaughter. Charlotte will always know where she comes from. I love you, and I miss you.

Mom, I miss you, but I know that you and Grandpa are together again and eternally happy. It is so hard for us here without you. Thank you for so many great years and we look forward to seeing you some day in Heaven.

Aunt Millie, you were always one of my favorites. I enjoyed our talks about your past, my future and our family. And when in my youth I didn't measure up to be the man I thought I should be, I would reflect on the time I spent with you. You and Uncle Rick are part of who I am. Your values of family were a priority. Thank you for the family reunions. They ment alot to your out of state relitives. Thank you for being my godmother, I felt special as a child and loved as an adult. I will miss you dearly

Little Ricky

Mom, we had so many plans for the summer, fall, and next year - and now you're with Dad. I know you and he couldn't be apart long but we were hoping we'd have you a bit longer. I was looking forward to our train trip and some day trips to see fall colors. I miss you each and every minute of every day. 

Our holidays, birthdays -  any old day at all, will be empty when compared to when you took care of all of us.  You had an amazing gift for making everything sparkle. I can remember as a little girl in Cleveland coming down the stairs on a cold winter morning and seeing the living room transformed from the night before into a Christmas wonderland - tinsel and elves and snow and poinsettias everywhere. Every Thanksgiving included homemade crafts from the kids, each receiving a place of honor each year to come.   There were poems, prayers, singing and games.   We never had elaborate gifts because you taught us to enjoy simple things – like a game of bingo with prizes from the dollar store, penny Valentines exchanged every single year,  and songs Grandpa taught us.   

 You taught us to learn about our Polish heritage.  We all learned to polka – no choice!    You cooked like no one else’s mother!   I can remember your “first day it snows” tradition when I was a kid  – I could look forward to warm kluskis for dinner if it snowed that day and the windows of the house would be steamed over for the boiling pots on the stove.     When warm weather came and the windows were open we could hear you playing Siwy Kon on your accordion.   If I close my eyes I can go back to those days and hear you play and smell those wonderful meals you prepared with love.  

Our house was always spotless.  You taught us “cleanliness is next to Godliness.”   You loved animals and nature and would give all your time and energy to a sick, wounded or unwanted animal.   I am sure all God’s creatures in heaven have found you by now!    

You were a fierce protector of your children.   I always knew that if someone mistreated one of us, they would hear from you.  You were the nicest church lady around, but just don’t mess with Millie’s kids.    You encouraged us to be the best we could be, never ever comparing us to one another or another child.   Each of us was celebrated for our unique gifts and loved unconditionally, even thru the awkward adolescent years when nothing seems to go right.    You taught by example.   We had family dinners with everyone present and there was no TV or complaining or unpleasant conversation.  You always told us that Dad worked hard for us all day and he deserved to see his daughters being pleasant during dinner.   Sometimes the sibling fighting would stop just as Dad pulled in the driveway.   Your love for Dad was a love like no other I’ve ever seen.   

You made a home for Dad and us that was warm and snug, clean, safe, welcoming, and  filled with other-worldly amounts of sheer grace, joy,  love and blessings from above.     

There will never ever be another mother on this earth or in heaven like you Mom – I miss you and I love you with all my heart.

My memorial to my mother is to live my life with the values and ideals she instilled in me: To work hard and take pride in my work, to earn respect and let people know that they can count on me, cook a good meal and enjoy it with my family, that it is sometimes better to keep your mouth shut, always put family first, the importance of faith and serving my church, that hot tea and toast with cheese can make most things better, holidays are magic, to not let the opinion of others make me second guess myself, that Vicks cures all, to always look for the good in others and to treat my husband, children and family like every moment with them is my last.  Mom - you will always be with me.  I truly love you.

I will miss you very much. I will never forget the Birthday party you & Uncle Rick surprised me with when I was a little girl. It was the best party a little girl could ever have. I feel happy that you are now with uncle Rick, my Father, Valerie & Grandpa & Grandma Zeffield. Till we meet again!!

Aunt Millie,
 In my eyes you held many titles throughout my life. As a child I saw a woman who could have been a role model to Mrs. Brady & Mrs. Cleaver. As a teen you became the Grande Dame of Crafts and Decorating.  In my adult years Aunt Millie you are obviously the Matriarch of our Family. And on a daily basis the Purveyor of Infectious Smiles. Aunt Millie for the rest of my life you will always be the Epitome of Goodness. 

 Thank you Aunt Millie for seeing the child eager to learn, the teen who needed to find her path, and the young adult who didn't have a clue. You encouraged me, gave me your acceptance, put your foot in my kiester when required, and just plain listened. You brought a location challenged family together resulting in fond memories of many weekend reunions. The memories I have of you will live forever and the lessons you taught me will hopefully will be passed down. Thank You Aunt Mille for just being You.... You will be eternality missed.

I really admire my grandma for keeping our family happy and keeping us as one and for keeping our spirits high. I will always remember the thanksgiving dinners and the "goody bags" she would hand out.Although she is gone I am very thankful for being able to know her and although she is gone i will always keep her in my thoughts but I know she is not sad also because she can now see my grandpa.
