Gary and I will always remember the times we had with Sylvia & Pete as they were so memorable.  There was always laughter, food and love.  They welcomed us always at their home.  Sylvia was a very special lady.  The day she died a Monarch butterfly came in my yard and flew right at me.  Gary and I were just in Tahoe Sept 15-18th at a Vintage Trailer Rally when a butterfly landed on his hat.  We know it was a sign from Sylvia.  Whereever we go and what ever we do we will always think of her and her butterflies. Love to all the family especially Pete.  She will be missed but always in our hearts.

all of us will stay together and carry on the traditions you put on for all the family.  making us all one family has been the building of wonderful relationships because of you.  till we meet again be sure you and my mother save us all a seat at the poker table!!! luv u valerie

Dearest Pete and Family, it is with sadness and joy we remember Sylvia. Sad that she no longer will be with us but joy that she is at peace in heaven where we all strive to attain.  We are thankful for her smile and joy we enjoyed at our gatherings.  Although you spent years in Alaska and Las Vegas it never changed our friendship.

May God Bless you all and thanks for sharing your life and friendship with us.  We are sad to say we have a conflict today and will not be at the service.  God Bless Bill & Mary Gaffney

Umatum Cousins and all my Cousins, our parents were truly of a grand generation and as they are leaving us one by one, I feel a deep sadness in my heart. A lifetime is but a season with those we love and who have touched our lives. For that I am so thankful. 
Aunt Sib was the Pflug family connector. Who else could hand-write the names of 30 some cousins and their spouses as well as the accumulated 50 some odd kids (of the 35) and a note about each one of them on the bottom of ONE Christmas card?? It was important for her to keep us all connected in some way and I am grateful. 
I have special memories of when she visited me in Oregon several years ago and we drove to Spokane to see Helene and JoAnn.  
My prayers are with all of you.

Grandma, I already miss you so much! You gave me so many childhood memeories that i will forever cherish like coming out and supporting me at my soccer games, the amazing dinners we had in your backyard, the Christmas get togethers at our house and the birthdays we shared together. Thanks for everything you did for me and always taking my side istead of Reece's ;) I love you so much! RIP Grandma Sib.

 Uncle Pete I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Sib. I have such warm and wonderful childhood memories of both of you.She will be so missed. I will keep you and the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Sib was the one I would call whenever I wanted to know where someone was or how they were doing.  It was so much fun when we would go to her house when we were little or when they came to ours in Colorado.  She was such a character, always laughing and making sure everyone was having a good time.  I'm so happy I made the trip in June to see her and Uncle Pete.  I love her and will miss her. 
To all of her children you were blessed to have such a wonderful mother.  To Uncle Pete my thoughts are with you.

Aunt Sibby was so special to me and I always wondered how she did it all.  Every Christmas we were at their house with mounds of food mostly served up in porcelain platters & bowls she created.  There were presents under the tree for all of us; the parents would laugh & drink while some of us kids tried to play the organ - Randy & Greg took that over.  She shared so much family history with me and I don't know how she found so much information without a computer - can't find a lot of it today.  Farewell My Dearest Aunt, I love you & thank you for being such a special part of my life.

Aunt Sylvia's house was a place of happiness for me. I remember going there on Christmas eve and being amazed at the quantity of chips and dip and snowflake cookies. She and Uncle Pete were always so sweet to us. She was also willing to sell me either Mark or Greg for a quarter. I could never decide which one I wanted to buy.  With love..Mary Pflug Zimmer

Over 31 years ago she became my mother in-law; shortly thereafter she became my 2nd "mom".  She may have never known just how much she taught me just by watching her.  I learned you ALWAYS love your children no matter what.  You have every right to brag about your grandchildren to everyone and anyone who will listen.  No one should ever leave your home hungry.  When an animal needs a home, let them in.  Gifts made with your hands and from the heart mean so much more than any piece of merchandise you can purchase.  And she always told me "things always happen for a reason".  I was truly blessed.  Mom, thank you for always being there for all us and may you rest in peace.  I love you, Debbie
