Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Ward, the son of Charles F. Ward & Katherine Dial Ward, was born April 17, 1960, in Baltimore, MD.
He graduated from West Anchorage High School in Anchorage, Alaska. Following graduation, he began working for Alascom where he stayed until retirement.
He moved to the Hugo area and later to Powderly where he made his home. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Alan attended the Powderly Church of God.
Survivors include five siblings, Margie Cotter, Sharon Sizemore & husband Greg, Connie Embley & husband Tom, Wanda Cluff & husband Mike, and Ronald Ward along with many nieces & nephews and a host of friends including Lee Crawford.
