Charlotte Cloud Thompson

Charlotte Cloud Thompson, 76, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at the Rockwall Nursing Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Kris Segrest officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Mrs. Thompson, the daughter of Tulley & Euna Johnson Cloud, was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Louisiana. Her career spanned many years working for Conagra and Best Foods before beginning work for Mary Kay Cosmetics. In 1954, she married Oscar Berry Thompson, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2014. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Cloud, Buddy Cloud and Mickey Cloud. Survivors include a daughter, Debra Tobolka & husband Gary of Wylie, two grandchildren, Chris Tobolka & wife Grace of Dallas and Carrie Tobolka Williams of Wylie, great grandchildren, Ean Williams, Noah Williams and Moriah Eve Tobolka, two brothers, Travis Cloud & Donald Cloud, two sisters, Sybil Vessel & Ersa Lee Welch along with many nieces and nephews. Casket bearers will be: Gary Adcock, Justin Cloud, Chad Cloud, Chris Tobolka, Steve Dickey and Allen Reid.
