

Eldon Graham Eudy, 83, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23rd, at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton with Bro. Preston Boles officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Eudy, the son of G. V. and Ida Pinkie Graham Eudy, was born July 29, 1932, in Shallowater, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army. His career with the Katy Railroad, based out of Denison, spanned thirty-five and one half years before his retirement. Eldon was an avid coin collector and a member of the North Star of Texas Coin Club. He enjoyed fishing, bluegrass music, football and baseball. Eldon was a member of College Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jerrie Eudy, a daughter, Tammie McCarthy, his parents, G. V. and Ida Eudy, a sister, Oleta Ball and a brother, Norman Eudy. Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Sharp Eudy, sons, Mike Ross and Ricky Mabb, daughter, Mary Martin, brother, Gary Eudy, sister, Oma Dell Martin, sixteen grandchildren, Blake, Andrea, Kelly, Katie, Billy, Christin, Stephen, Stephanie, Clayton, Corey, Erica, Aaron, Shelbi, Candy, D. J., and Georgianna, sixteen great grandchildren, Emily, Cole, Kenzie, Ellayna, Courtney, Morgan, Lydia, Jaidyn, Cade, Ranie, Brynlee, Harper, Kynidee, Audrey, Austin and Bryce along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Steve Arnold, Corey Hicks, Aaron Mabb, D. J. Martin, Eddie Elmore and Tim Parks.
