Judy Steelman Hood, 65, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at her home. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23rd, at Life Church, 3803 SW Loop 286, Paris, with Rev. Lynn Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hood, the daughter of Walter & Lillian Steelman, was born Jan. 26, 1950. She worked a number of years as secretary for her family’s business, Hood’s Truck Service. She was a member of Life Church. Her husband, Denny Hood, her parents and a sister, Ann Henderson, preceded her in death. Survivors include six children, Gary Wlodarczak & wife Charlette, Scott Wlodarczak & wife Sarah, Doug Hood & wife Teri, Melissa Hood, Deneisa Beckley and Marty Hood & wife Carolina, 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, three sisters, Carol, Betty and Margaret along with a number of nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
