

Ed, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ed was predeceased by his father Jack Nelson White and his mother Julia Rose McLaughlin White.
Ed is a 1965 graduate of Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College.
For most of his adult life he worked at the Texas Department of Transportation in Purchasing. Ed served in the United States Army and retired October 11,2006 as a Chief Warrant Officer (W4). The United States Army thanks you for your many years of service to our Country.
Ed’s passion was the outdoors which included canoeing the Mulberry and Cossatot Rivers in Arkansas in addition motorcycling the Big Bend National Park which included Terlingua and Lajitas for the final destinations to have a beer or two.
Ed also had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He was often spending time reading and researching topics of interest.
Drag racing was another passion Ed enjoyed with his dear friend Mickey Huggins in the early years of 1967-1972.
Ed is survived by his loving Stepdaughter Natasha H. Peel and God Daughter Hollie A. Huggins Davis.
He also leaves behind a vast group of Friends which includes Steve Harris, GI Hodges, Jack Ingram, Mickey Huggins, Steve Ferrell, Hunter Moore, Beverly Coleman and Tina Van Netten.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to Steve Harris, Beverly and Glen Coleman, Platinum Home Health & Hospice and Dr. Bercher.
