

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. His urn will be placed at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Cremation was under the care & direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Chapman, the son of Leslie Porter Chapman & Esma Alice King Chapman, was born July 22, 1936, in Paris, TX.
He graduated from Paris High School and entered the United States Navy where he served in Naval Aviation until his honorable discharge eleven years later. Les ran a trucking business, being leased to C&H Transportation for 25 years. He then owned & operated Les Chapman Transportation for 30 years. He had been a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Don Fisher Chapman, whom he married on May 8, 1954, building almost 72 years of family & memories. Two Children, Leslie Chapman, Jr. & wife Jamie and Kim Loveless & husband Darrell, six grandchildren, Leslie Geron “Skipper” Chapman, III & wife Amy, Valarie Chapman Harp & husband Hunter, Colby Hindman & husband Dakota, Derrick Loveless & wife Joanne, Eric Loveless & wife Michelle, and Cheslie Minier & husband Landon, great grandchildren, Brayden, Bryer, Bryleigh, Gracie, Karlie, Trystan & husband Cole, Trynity & husband Parker, Lila, Riley, Campbell, Emery, Presley, Kipton, and Henley, and great great grandchildren, Westin, Maisyn, and Lynnyn along with a host of friends.
