

Mary Francis Attebury, 75, of Paris, TX passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9th, at the Chapel of Little Cemetery in Little, OK with Stacy Attebury serving as celebrant and Tracy Attebury serving as eulogist. The family will receive friends at the Chapel of Little Cemetery one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Attebury, the daughter of Frank L. & Verna F. McGeehee Klaus, was born March 15, 1940, in Prague, OK. On June 14, 1958, she married David Lloyd Attebury, building fifty-six years of family and memories before his death on May 3, 2015. She was officer manager for Brad Fenton Motors in McAlester, OK until her retirement. Mrs. Attebury was a member of First Baptist Church of McAlester, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the BPW (Business and Professional Women of McAlester). Mary Francis was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and loved fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Klaus and Bobby Klaus. Survivors include three children, Tracy Attebury & wife Tami of Paris, Tammy Talbot & husband Jimmie of McAlester, OK, and Pamela Attebury of Bedford, TX, grandchildren, Megan Attebury Head & husband Justin, Tyler Attebury, Paige Attebury, Chelsea Talbot and Jackson Lane, one great grandchild, Chesney Head, along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearer will be: Tracy Attebury, Tyler Attebury, Jackson Lane, Jimmie Talbot, Robert Klaus and Jimmy Klaus, Jr.
