Following her request, cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holmes, the daughter of Charles & Louisa Peronia Card, was born Sept. 18, 1948, in Newton, New Jersey.
She made her home in Galveston for a number of years where she worked at I-HOP and Miller’s Landing. After moving to Paris she began working at Ward’s, where she made many friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Terry Card and Rocki Jennings and a brother, Bobby Card.
Survivors include her children; Kim Barker & husband Michael, Eric Slack and wife Tracy and Larry Slack, grandchildren; Tracy Slack, Crystal Zavala, T. J. Zavala, Steven Zavala, Joshua Garcia and Tyler & Allison Slack, great grandchildren; Emma Gates and Jacob Brand, siblings; Judy Card, Charlene Kristenson, Wanda Nicholson, Ricky Card, Chucky Card and Michael Card along with many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
