Pauline Wesley

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2nd, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery at Deport. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wesley, the daughter of Islin and Salena Edward Paxton, was born May 31, 1928, in Finley, OK.

She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church and Graham Street Baptist Church.

On Feb. 11, 1952, she married Joseph Zedrick Wesley, building forty-two years of family and memories before his death on Sept. 18, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Islin & Salena, her step-father, John McCoy, and two children, Carl Wesley and Bertha Rhame.

Survivors include four children; Patricia Porter & husband Bobby of Paris, Pamela Humphrey & husband Floyd of Fulbright, Phyllis Taylor & husband Chester of Paris and Michael Wesley of Clarksville, two special nephews; Daniel Billy, Jr. & wife Teresa and Daniel C. Billy, III all of Paris, a niece, Mallie Angeles & husband Braulio of Paris, two granddaughters; Melanie Nichols and April Wesley both of Paris, a great granddaughter, Bethanie Nichols of Paris, a son-in-law, Tom Rhame of Louisiana, a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Wesley of Paris and a brother-in-law, E. J. Wesley of Detroit along with numerous other nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
