Phillip Quinn Sherwood, born June 3, 1984, passed away January 17, 2016 at age 31. Friends and family are asked to join us in a celebration of Quinn's life at the Georgia Community Cemetery on Saturday, February 6 at 2 pm. Quinn and Pam had recently moved back to Paris from Prosper when his work on oil rigs played out. He had found a new work family at Turner Pipe. He was a proud graduate of North Lamar High School. Quinn was the life of the party. He was witty and had a fantastic sense of humor. He never met a stranger and was generous to others. It would be impossible to list all of his closest friends- you know who you are and how much you meant to him. Quinn touched the lives of so many people. He was a loving, loyal husband, father, son, brother and friend. Those of us who are left to grieve his passing include his wife, Pam Maynard, his children Amelia Ann and Phillip Drake Sherwood. He is also survived by his parents, Mitzi and Travis Sherwood, his brother and sister-in-law, Grant and Kalee Graham Sherwood, niece Madison, nephew Ty, and grandmother Nancy Crockett. His aunts and uncles include Thomas Sherwood, Carol and Jan Sherwood, Doris Schmitz, Nan Hart, Teresa and Joel Stephens, Angela and John Crockett, Barbara and Brian Crockett, and Cathey and Marcus Page. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred and Maurice Sherwood and John I. Crockett III. He was a beloved friend to his cousins, classmates, and those whom he worked with. Honorary pallbearers are Nolan McCulloch, Josh Besteman, Todd Hansen, Josh Harkrider, Josh Cooper, Jason Evans, Zack Cooper and Chris Sanford. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Quinn Sherwood Memorial Fund at Liberty National Bank in Paris, TX. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. To leave a message or tribute for the family please visit www.brighthollandfuneralhome.com.
