Robby Lynn Walker went to His Heavenly Fishing Pond on the morning of May 16, 2022, in Pasadena, Texas. Robby was born in Paris, Texas to Oliver Doyle Walker and Jo Nell Norwood on February the 21st, 1964.
He leaves behind one daughter, Whitney Olivia Walker of Cedar Hill, two brothers Rick Walker (Dicksie) of Tyler, Larry Walker (Kim) of Paris, nephews Will Walker (Andrea) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brian Walker (Shamanda) of Centennial, Colorado, nieces Jennifer Awtry, and Jana Walker of Abilene and numerous cousins and others he made feel like family over the years.
Robby started working at a young age as a butcher at Ford’s Food Center. Robby has been a superintendent for JR Cox for about 10 years now. In between, he had a variety of jobs that gave him a wide range of knowledge.
Robby attended schools in Paris and he learned his love of hunting from his dad and his dad’s buddy Joe Ed Swint riding up and down dirt roads all over Lamar County in back of a truck with his brothers. He was a vivid hunter, fisherman and competed professionally as a fisherman and hoped one day to be a fishing guide on Lake Fork.
Robby’s heart was bigger than his body could hold, and he would do anything for anyone. He had a twinkle in his eye and a laugh like Santa Claus. His grin was like a mischievous little boy about to get into something. He had a strong Love for the Lord, Family, and Friends. We hope he catches the Big One!
