She shared many happy memories with her family and friends over her lifetime. Wanda was humous and joyful and loved by so many people. She showed her love by giving generously to those in need. She was well known for her cooking and baking abilities, like her famous pecan pie and chocolate pie! For many decades you could find her in the kitchen on Hearon Street. Wanda loved her kids, sons-in-law and grandchildren with all of her heart. She was so proud of each one of them and let it be known to all who would listen. She was especially fond of her cousin, Ron Byers.
She was a hairdresser by trade for over 40 yrs, she was a beauty consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was of the Baptist faith and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a devoted member of Mary Jane Lowery’s bible study and a prayer warrior. Wanda loved playing 42 with her friends and she usually won! She lived a full and productive life and her memory will live in our hearts forever. A special thanks to Elara Caring Hospice and long-time family friend-Diana Hutchings.
