

Angelita Crusinberry (b. Nov 29, 1929 - d. July 29, 2024) was born Maria Angela Jimenez to Miguel Jimenez and Trinidad Covarrubias in Los Angeles, California the eldest of 3 daughters. She attended St. Agnes school from K-12 and graduated in 1947, and briefly attended UCLA. She married Gilbert Ramirez in August 1953 and had two sons, Steven (b. 1954) and Donald (b.1955) In addition to raising her sons, she was a senior administrator for City of Huntington Beach Parks and Recreation for 10 years. She married James Crusinberry in 1977 and moved to Colorado River in 1977, settling in Earp, CA. While in Earp, she worked several jobs well into her 80’s, eventually retiring from the US Post Office substation at Gory Realty. In 2013 she fulfilled a long-held dream and purchased a red 1979 Ford Mustang convertible which she proudly drove around Parker. She was a beloved member of the Colorado River community, beloved by all she met, she was never too busy to lend an ear or give advice. She was also an avid reader, which earned a mention in Parade Magazine article on Parker Library, as a regular fixture of the library. She was a devout Catholic who in her later years received Communion at home as she was no longer able to travel to church She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters (Trinidad and Carmen) and both her husbands. She is survived by her two sons, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Please feel free to add any thoughts or memories you may have of Angie.
