Charlie passed while peacefully watching the sunset over the Colorado River. Charlie had many accomplishments. Most of them involved sports, including Roller Derby, waterskiing and dirt bikes. From barefoot drag records to circle racing, speed skiing or marathons. There wasn't anything he couldn't ski on. He travelled the states and abroad water skiing and skating. He worked for the airlines and retired this year after over thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by his father Charlie "Specs" Saunders, mother Joanie Hill Saunders and brother Gary Saunders. He is survived by his sister JoAnn Van Anrooy, nephews Michael and Jimi Priest, niece Shelly Priest Gray and many wonderful cousins and friends.
