

Emily Ann Panuco, a radiant spirit and a true hero, passed away tragically on February 27, 2026, at the age of 26. In her final moments, Emily showed the world the depth of her boundless love by giving everything to protect her son. A final act of courage that defined the selfless and devoted mother she was every single day.
Born on October 24, Emily was the heart of her family and a light in her community. Above all she was a devoted wife, a fiercely protective and loving mother, a cherished daughter, a supportive sister, and a loyal friend. Those who knew her will remember her as having the kindest soul. She was a woman who moved through the world with grace and had an unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Emily’s life was dedicated to the service of others, particularly children. As the Early Childhood Literacy Coordinator at the CRIT library, she poured her passion into fostering a love of learning. She was just a year away from earning her bachelor’s degree in Childhood Psychology. Her impact was felt throughout the community, whether as a lifeguard for the Parker swim program or as a dance teacher at the Gingerbread House, where she brought joy to so many.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richie Panuco, precious children, Jesse and Rosme, mother Lynda, grandmother Sally,brother Andrew (Brittney), niece Gracie,nephew Andrew Jr, brother Daniel, sister Itsy and her mother and father-in-law, Esther and Cosme Panuco.
Emily’s life was short, but it was incredibly full. She leaves behind a community that is better for having known her and a family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Her bravery and her love will never be forgotten.

Emily will be remembered through a Celebration of Life to be held on March 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Bluewater Resort & Casino, Showroom/Bingo Hall, 11300 Resort Drive, Parker, Arizona 85344.
