Maria Trinidad Torres

María Trinidad Torres passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 31, 2024 at the age of 91. She is survived by her children, Miguel Ángel Torres (son) and Guadalupe Torres of Parker, AZ; Beatriz Olivia Duran (daughter) and Alfonso Duran of Hollister, CA; José Pedro Torres (son) and Anne Torres of Parker, AZ; Yolanda Gomez (daughter) and Octavio Gomez of Parker, AZ; Javier Torres (son) and Margarita Torres of Parker, AZ; and Armando Torres (son) and Nancy Torres of Folsom, CA.

She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Beltran Torres; her sons, Juan Manuel Torres, Benancio Alfredo Torres, and Miguel Salvador Torres, as well as her siblings, Carmen Tamayo, María Luisa Tamayo, and José Manuel Tamayo.

María Trinidad Torres was born February 14, 1933, in Cosalá, Sinaloa to José Manuel Tamayo and María Rosalina Urrea. She married her husband in 1950 and had five children in Mexico before immigrating to the United States in 1962. They settled in Parker, Arizona and had four more children.

María was a devout Catholic and she raised her children to have faith in God, show unconditional love and generosity for those in need. She was the matriarch of our family and loved us very much. She was a great woman who will always be remembered and missed by her family and everyone that knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
