She was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Wood Co., a daughter to the late Howard and Barbara Harper. She was a graduate of PHS class of 1954, she was a member of Murphytown United Methodist Church, the CEOs of Murphytown UMC, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Harper.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Park, son, Roger Park (Gail) of Waverly, daughters, Cheryl Duell (Dennis) of Marietta, and Kay Gandee (Brad) of Davisville, brothers, George Harper, and John Harper, sister, Twila Park, grandchildren, Jody, Caitlyn, Amy, Ashley, Heather, Kimberly, Kortni, and Paul, great grandchildren, Zanna, Raina, Brian, Tyler, Emma, Evan, Payton, Ellie, Drew, Wes, Harry, and Lily.
Service will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, 4:00 pm at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Mary Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
