

She was born July 15, 1936 in St. Albans, WV a daughter to the late Woodrow William and Edna Louise Brightwell. She worked as a presser at Bonnett’s Dry Cleaners, helped in the kitchen at Borg Warner, but was mostly a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen “Kerry” Wade, Brenda Lee Drumm, Kimberly Sue Knight, all of Parkersburg, daughter-in-law, Terry Sue Middleton of Parkersburg, sister, Margaret Joan Williams of Parkersburg, sister-in-law, Wanda Louise Wade, of Smyrna, TN, and brother-in-law, Raymond G. Pickens, of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren, Bill Middleton, Josh (Kim) Middleton, Alyssa (Brett) Riffey, Rachel (Jose) Valencia, Erica (Brian) Watson, Natalie (Seth) Shull, David (Kelly) Drumm, and Josie Knight, , Great Grandchildren, Kaleigh, Cole, and Logan Middleton, Ava Drumm, Emily Russell, and Trenton Ahart, along with several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews, Grandpuppies, Penny, Bailee, Bella, and Emmett, Special Lifetime friend, Margaret “Margie” Clarkson, Special Niece, Linda Ann Covey (who loves you Aunt Betty), Special thanks to Arlene Quoyle, Amy Jones and Housecall Hospice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard “Bill” Wade, her son, William Howard “Billy” Wade Jr., and sisters, Rosetta Hueston and Shirley Pickens. Service will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Deacon Clarence Mathess officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
