Billy Dean Oliver

Billy Dean Oliver, 84, of Parkersburg, WV peacefully fell asleep in death on September 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1935 in Newell, WV to Clifford E. and Evelyn I. Oliver. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Military and retired from Kardex Systems at the age of 69. He was a devoted husband and father and loved the outdoors where he enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and fishing.

Billy will be greatly missed by his caring wife, Delores and children, Janette (Roy) Fox, Valorie (Joe) Lockhart, Veronica Parsons (Chris Hunt). Brother, Gene (Bea) Oliver and sisters, Norma (Darrell) Vaught and Jan (Bill) Collins. Pappaw will be fondly remembered also by his grandchildren, Joey Fox, Bethany Sams, Jordan Parsons, Mike, Jodie, Kyle and Karlie Lockhart, as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
