Clara Pearle Marlow Hathaway

She was born October 3, 1928, in Walker, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Lloyd and Clare Ellen (Curran) Marlow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Hathaway; three brothers, Lester Marlow, Sanford Marlow, Minter Marlow; two sisters, Blanche Ingold, Birdie May Mullen and several nieces and nephews.

Pearle retired from Corning Glass Works with 17 ½ years of service. She was a member of the Kites Run Evangelical Methodist Church, Walker, WV and enjoyed playing the Guitar and Organ. Some other interests include camping, hunting, fishing, traveling and caring for her animals.

Survivors include her nieces, Betty M. Lee of Davisville, WV, Marjorie Wright and Karen M. West both of Parkersburg, WV; nephews Ira Ingold of OH, Floyd Ingold of Wyoming, Lloyd Mullen of Walker, WV and several great nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Kerns officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Cedar Grove Personal Care Home, House Call Hospice Care, Dr. Kuppuswamy and Sister June at Camden Clark Medical Center for their love, care and compassion they have shown to the family.
