David Allen Hornbeck, 46, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away May 29, 2018, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following a brief illness.

He was born January 7, 1972, in Wadsworth, OH, a son of Jerriene (Holben) Hornbeck and the late A. David Hornbeck.

David was a 1992 graduate of Pender High School and a member of Faith Gospel Church, Parkersburg. He enjoyed bowling, swimming, and spending time with his two dogs.

Survivors in addition to his mother are his brother Paul Randall of Burgaw, NC; sisters Donna Sue Copen of Bolivar, OH, Mary Jane Reeder of Duncan, SC, Tracy Butler of Parkersburg; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a special friend Larry McCoy and children.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Shawn Law officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
