Deborah was born September 7, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV to Duane Smith and Barbara Jo {Randolph} Sands.
Deborah graduated from Parkersburg South High School with the Class of 1968.
She worked for many years at Dils Department Store, JC Penney and other retail locations.
Deborah will be deeply missed by her son Tim Thomas (Amanda) Washington, WV, grandchildren - Sarah, Mallory and Eliza Thomas, brothers and sisters - Christi (Dan) Merrill, Randy (Carolyn) Smith, Jeanne (Frank) Hughes, Jeanette (Bruce) Ketterman, Diana (Kenny) Kersey, Rodney (Denise) Starcher and David (Debbie) Starcher and her sister-in-law Connie Smith of Washington, WV.
Deborah was preceded in death by her brother Mike Smith.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Tom McDowell officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
